£ £ TM-15I is a
multipurpose full-range active/passive-mode-switchable 2-way
enclosure. With a densified trapezoidal cabinet, it can be
used widely as tour speeches, concerts and fixed installations
sound reinforcement systems as well as the superior floor
monitors. Incorporated with one front-loaded 15" LF driver and
one 2¡å HF compression driver on one 2" throat dissymmetrical
rotatable waveguide device, the loudspeaker can provide a
dispersion of 45¡ãand 90¡ã(H)¡Á45¡ã( V). The loudspeaker
employs the dissymmetrical hyperbolic waveguide device. The
comparatively shorter flare allows physical alignment of the
HF and LF devices, and ensures that the wavefront is shaped
smoothly, eliminating reflections in the throat area while
giving excellent pattern control. Additionally, this design
does not suffer from the typical distortion of horns employing
diffraction edges. The waveguide device can be rotated within
the enclosure, making it possible to swap the horizontal and
vertical coverage patterns. In its quasi-trapezoidal shape,
the enclosure is designed to have angles of 15¡ãand 45¡ãat one
of its sides, this type of cabinet can be used conveniently as
both main sound reinforcement enclosure and floor monitor, and
both applications can provide a clear and powerful
sound. The TM-15I includes 10 rigging points (2 on top,
bottom, back and each side) for fitting M10 eyebolts, enabling
it to be suspended and angled in permanent installations as
well as in mobile applications. A pole mount socket is fitted
for using with ¦µ35mm pole. Made of 15mm(5/8 inch) birch
plywood, using heavy-duty screws, the carefully-made cabinet
has outstanding reliability and durability. The standard
cabinet finished in black paint is equipped with steel grille
in the front. The rear panel has two Neutrik Speakon NL4MP
sockets, and it is very convenient to link with other
speakers. A recessed switch is used for shifting between
bi-amp and internal-passive crossover mode. For TM-15I
applications, special professional high-quality digital
loudspeaker management system (or equivalent) is a necessity,
which must have at least 2 input channels and 4 output
channels, and each output channel must have equalization and
limit functions with at least 5
parameters. |
